Picnic Garden: Lunch

I finally had the opportunity to go to Picnic Garden in Flushing, NY the other day. I heard it was great and all because it's a Korean BBQ BUFFET. Ahhhh! So exciting!! I went for lunch because it was cheaper (~$17) but it turns out I probably should try a dinner (~$30) too.

All the ingredients are laid out in pans in the middle of the restaurant and you pick what you want, bring it back to your table, and cook it on your personal grill. The waitstaff will help you cut up larger portions or help you cook a little too. For lunch, there was less of a variety of tastier meats. However, the provided meat was still good, just not as tasty as I imagined it would be.

There were a few other dishes that I did like--japchae noodles and pajun (pancakes), my favorite Korean dishes! If I had nothing to do all day, I might have stayed longer to wait out every time I felt full and then eat more. The selection just wasn't what I was expecting though. Will definitely have to go back for a dinner buffet sometime.
